Coral Gold Dipped French Provincial Dresser

I breathed some new life into this vintage dresser! The coral against the original brass hardware with gold dipped bottom is to die for! I love updating furniture!
I found this dresser for $50 at Goodwill. I'm super cheap, and this is more than I would normally pay for a piece to sell. However, it was one I wanted to keep for the nursery, so I brought it home! It even came with a mirror! I'll have to find a home for that one day...
Here's the before. Very country and outdated. It's a nice piece. Good bones and it's by Basset furniture!

I gave it a good scrub down before the transformation began!
I typically either paint OR sand. It really depends on the condition of the piece and the color I'm painting. Here she is with a bonding primer sprayed on.
Then I sprayed the bottom gold, let it dry, and taped it off.
Then came the coral! I removed the tape to reveal the gold bottom and reattached the spruced up hardware!
I use Brasso to clean up old brass hardware. Mom tested, baby approved!!! ;)
Last, I took a tiny paintbrush and painted the individual dovetail joints. I often like to line the inside of the drawers, but with the curved fronts it was more than just cutting a straight line. So, I gave the tiny teeth some life instead!
Here she is in the nursery! I'm still working on getting that room finished up!
Update with her gallery wall!
