Pallet Block Ornaments

These ornaments are so inexpensive to make and the results are absolutely store-bought worthy. Happy to share the tutorial and templates with you in hopes that you might be able to start making your own today!
Start by printing out the 2" box template on a sheet of plain white paper. Glue this together in about 2 minutes flat. Go ahead...I'm timing you! ;)
Using regular size craft sticks, cut the rounded corner off the end of a stick and line up against the side of your box and make a mark to cut where the edge of the box lines up with the stick. Cut your craft stick using sharp scissors and hot glue the stick to your box.
Repeat this process until your box is completely filled with sticks. Notice how I alternated directions on each side of the box. Once you are finished gluing on your sticks, lightly sand the edges until smooth.
Paint your box and once it's dry, use the printable template and graphite paper to trace the lettering and images on to each of the sides. Paint over your lines with acrylic paint.
Hot glue ribbon or burlap around the edges of the box and you have yourself a sturdy and beautiful pallet box ornament! Takes a bit of time but the results are worth it and you can customize any way you want! Visit the blog post to download all the templates and view the full tutorial.
