Easy DIY Gingerbread Man Christmas Candy/Cookie Jar - #DIYGift

Don't throw out that candle jar after the candle is gone! Turn it into an adorable *Painted Christmas Jar* that is super easy, and makes a festive gift, filled with candy or cookies!
These painted jars are SO easy to make, and are so inexpensive as well. You probably have most of the supplies on hand. You'll need to raid our recycling bin for a an empty glass jar that has a lid.
Now you know why you should save all those empty glass jars! Glass candle jars with lids work awesome too, and most have the type of lid that keeps air out, which is perfect if you plan to put cookies in your jar.
The other supplies you'll need include:

~ adhesive shelf paper (contact paper)

~ a cookie cutter, or trace another shape

~spray paint

~ acrylic paint pen

In no time at all, you'll have an adorably festive jar filled with sweets! Wouldn't this make a fabulous and inexpensive gift?!!
