Renovating my son's bathroom - is this really the same room?

Our house is a ranch style built in the 1960s. As you can see from these before photos, not much renovation had been done over the years prior to our purchase. Hard to believe we went from 1976 Bicentennial wallpaper to this gorgeous bath with bead board, subway tile, and Italian porcelain floor tile.
Before. :(
Old porcelain tub was so heavy the contractor had to cut it into three separate pieces to remove it. Nice brass shower door and light fixture around the mirror (insert sarcasm).
Old water damage around tub.
Tearing down the existing wall that blocked half the tub's edge. Can you believe there was wallpaper on the shower ceiling?
Drywall replacement.
After!
Marble topped vanity with oversized mirror. Antique sterling bowl used as toiletry tray. Ralph Lauren linens.
New tub with subway tile (we also tiled the ceiling & added a recessed light in the shower area).
Built-in niche.
Water saving dual-flush toilet.
