Super Simple Christmas Pillows

I love polka dots so when I spotted a red and white polka dot Christmas pillow in an online catalog I knew I could make my own in just minutes for far less.
I found just the right fabric on sale. 45" wide fabric is perfect for making a cover for an 18" square pillow.
You only need a 23" length of fabric for one 18" pillow. (I bought 3 yards and had more than enough to cover 5 pillows!) That's a lot of polka dot pillows!
Fold the fabric in thirds (right sides together) and adjust the folds so that the folded fabric measures 18".
Pin, then sew each side. That's the only sewing needed - just 2 straight lines of stitching. You can do it!
Turn the cover right side out and insert your pillow form.
Please read my blog post for more detailed instructions and also to find out my secret to finding inexpensive pillow forms.
