DIY Soap Scum Blaster

Blast away soap scum in your bathtub, shower walls/stalls and sink using this easy, inexpensive 'recipe'.
Ingredients: 4 ounces of hot vinegar {heat vinegar separately in the microwave for approximately 90 seconds} ~ 4 ounces of blue liquid dish washing detergent. See how to make it here:

    Minerals in hard water form with the fatty acids in soaps/shampoos to form soap scum, which is technically a salt. Vinegar is acidic and will clean it off very effectively, as will boric acid. It's all about the pH. Aside from being unsightly, soap scum can harbor pathogenic bacteria.
