Yard sale lighting

I have an affection for lighting in general. I loved the lighting store as a child. For this little girl, no tiara could hold a candle to looking up to see hundreds of sparkling chandeliers in a lighting showroom. I started collecting lamps a few years ago. I pick them up at yard sales when I see them and hang on to them until I (or someone) needs them. Here are a few of my finds from this summer.
$1. Money well spent. No rewiring necessary. Just some spray primer, bronze and candy apple red Rustoleum. Check out the after in red.
A friend was looking for a yellow pair of lamps. I picked these up for $1.00 each.
This one I found at Home Goods. I added some rope from the hardware store to give it some more character.
One of my favorites.
.50 cents. Awesome.
Yellow pair before.
This is one of my favorite Brimfield finds.
50 cent lamp after a quick spray paint.
The Brimfield lamp before. I did pay a bit more for this one, $20 and had to rewire it, but I LOVED the antique wood pedestal and the gourd shape.
