Painting a Deck

My deck has been my nemesis for years! I have repainted it several times, even tried staining it! Still, my deck peels, cracks, and splinters! I found a product that made my job so much easier!
My deck was peeling, cracking, and splintering! This product was thick and filled in the gaps! Plus it dries quickly!
This is "Deck Over" by Behr.
aaahhh - so much better!
It never fails, Emma always gets in the way.
She approves, although she was not happy that her paw prints were painted over. Oh well......

I have used the deck restore on my deck, the 10x so I was not expecting to have the cracking and peeling for a long while four years later there are huge strips coming up. Now I want to remove it but can not find an easy way to do. And she underneath the wood seems wet? Not sure why when I applied this product during a drought season and the directions were followed to the letter. How has yours held up?

I have had the same problem with Behr stain. My deck has peeled and nothing I have tried to do has removed the stain, or stopped the peeling. I want to try Deck Over, but I am afraid to make another very expensive mistake. Perhaps I will try the Rustoleum. Behr Paints owes a big apology for its solid stains. Epic failure.

Definitely don't use Sherwin Williams Deck and Dock Solid. Was suppose to last 5 years and was peeling and flaky up in 8 months. 860+ square feet of decking that we spent lots of money and time redoing and now we have a bigger mess to redo than before. They offered to give up primer to "Try" under it, after WE power washed or sanded the "new" peeling stuff again. Then WE are suppose to "redo it again", but no guarantees. No wonder they have so many law suits againest this product.
