Make a Contemporary/Industrial Tree

The 2 Seasons
by The 2 Seasons
Do you want a Christmas look that doesn't necessarily involve pine trees and red and green? Our friend made a great tree out of items from the local big box store. It is the perfect tree if you are crazy about an industrial and/or contemporary look.
The materials used for the tree are very simple: PVC pipe, dryer venting, and lights.
It looks great with the lights glowing at night or with the lights turned off during the day. When the holidays are over, it can easily be deconstructed and stored away till next year.
The lights fits nicely in the creases. To see how it was made, please visit our blog.
Another cute decorating idea that works in both the contemporary setting or in a traditional home is painting fireplace logs to match the color of the decor.
This works best in a fireplace that you don't plan to use. It's a great way to add some more pops of color to a room.
