Dining hutch makeover
by

We had a large bookshelf in our living room that was needed somewhere else. But we still need some place to store a few nicer books, knick knacks, and cabinet storage at the bottom. So I found an old dining hutch that. It had the dated speckled wood look but great bones and was the perfect size. So I painted it in Annie Sloan's Duck Egg Blue and Old White. I painted the bamboo detailing on the cabinet in Old White and also the hardware. I painted the inside Old White so that the objects inside would stand out.
