Our Revamped Kitchen

Our kitchen *used* to have maple stained cabinets and a taupe tile backsplash. That is, until my paint brush had fun painting our cabinets Annie Sloane's Pure, and we added beadboard to the backsplash. I love the lighter and brighter feel! (Will post before pics soon.)
As our kitchen doesn't get direct sunlight, the *now* white cabinets truly brighten it up!
We love the new beadboard backsplash!
Finally, the lower cabinets tie in with the shelves I made last year.
Our butcher block top is thankful for its new *supportive* farmhouse legs (a project that was long overdue)!
New cup pulls from Home Depot add a fun element to the drawers.
Our Fall Family Tree, created from branches (some lit), family pictures and sayings, as well as leaves that I hot glued to various branches.
I love being surrounded by family in the "heart of our home."

How have your painted cabinets held up? Do they chip easily? I have the same oak cabinets and would love to paint them white. Love what you did.

I like the curtains around the table. Where did you purchase them?

I looks like it is out of a showroom. I would never one to cook in it.
