Glittered Makeup Organizer

Dressing tables have to be glamorous, and when glamorous is the word, glitter is the first thing to pop in mind.

So almost 2 years passed and this box was kept all safe and sound in my cupboard. I always wanted to make something out of it, but wondered what? Maybe covering it up to turn it into a gift box, or maybe a jewellery box.

But after getting married and spending a few months adjusting into a new house, I needed a lot of organization. While decluttering all I have, makeup was something that definitely needed some arrangement and easy access.

So I just grabbed this box and pictured it as a make up box, but definitely wanted something glamorous to be kept on my dressing table. I added a foam board shelf, covered the inside with pva glue and glitter, and covered the outside the with golden card stock and a white lace to miminize the sharpness of gold.

And here's what I have finally, this pretty thing for absolutely no cost.

This is such a cute idea! I too have a ton of makeup that needs pretty storage.
