DIY mudroom

We needed a mudroom desperately but didn't have a "designated" room so we converted an existing useless transitional room between the kitchen and family room in to a mudroom. See the full story and how we did this at www.fourgenerationsoneroof.com
View of the wall with hooks, diy show storage and diy barn closet doors.
DIY a mudroom by adding a wooden wall treatment and beefy rod iron hooks with an added storage bin for shoes.
Come visit me at www.fourgenerationsoneroof.com and see how how I converted a useless awkward transitional room into a functional multipurpose mudroom by adding board and batten, shelving and a wall full of coat hooks.

Excellent use of space and such a beautiful job. I love it. Would you share the paint color?

This is too pretty to be a mud room. Where are the boot trays and plastic to put down to walk on when you come in with snow on your boots? Love your rugs, but it wouldn't work for me. This is not a complaint, just an observation on how lovely I wish things could look, but the reality is...it won't work.
