DIY Rolling Boot Tray

What do you do with a closet that is over six feet deep? Our front hall closet is just a complete waste of space. This winter, I am making use of all that space for our winter footwear.
Normally my front hall closet looks like this for my family of four. Maybe it looks familiar to you?
I really wanted to use a sturdy old drawer box, maybe from a dresser that wasn’t worth keeping. The door opening is only about 20 inches wide. I was at a Habitat for Humanity ReStore and spied a brand new solid maple extra long drawer box in the right width. This baby is a whole four feet long!
It was very easy to make my boot tray. Step 1: Flip it over and add casters.
Step 2: Line the inside with pretty contact paper.
Step 3: Add a nice, big pull handle. Enjoy your new boot tray!

I know not everyone has the same problem of a ridiculously deep closet, but this same idea with a shorter drawer box can work in a regular closet or under a bed.
