Revamp a Hope Chest With Contact Paper

I was given a lovely hope chest as a graduation gift 15 years ago, and it has NEVER fit into my decor. So when I was redoing my craft room, I decided to give it a little makeover. I didn't want to do anything I couldn't un-do, so I used contact paper to jazz it up! The results were amazing!
You can see the plain chest here. It's not ugly, but it's just not my style.
Firstly, I added some cute contact paper to the front and top, making sure to leave a little border around it. It really makes the wood look lovely!
I also added a pretty vinyl quote to the front, as I'm trying to surround myself with positivity!
Here it is in all its glory. I filled it with my treasures and then placed some decorative figurines and a few framed photos on top. It looks awesome and makes me so happy!

I love all the fairies on top! If my cats would allow, I'd have dragons or horses/unicorns...
