It may have seen better days but it definitely still has some fun parties in it's future.

What isn't there to love about repurposing a 1930-something radio cabinet into a mini bar. It's like a second chance at life. This Oldies' party days are just beginning. . .
Our very own mini bar! It was important to us that it held onto it's beautiful woodgrained dignity. Wish the radio panel survived but then again...our mini chalkboard is a great place to put the "drink of the day" info! Cheers
Mini bar in the back! We added casters so it can easily be moved to wherever we need it. It has built in stemware holders and wine storage, plus shelving for all of the extras.
This is the gutted radio cabinet. The radio components were beyond saving. But what to do with the beautiful wood cabinet?

Amazing! I really like this idea and am kicking myself for getting rid of a similar piece.

Ah Jen, sorry to hear that. When I look back at all the things I've gotten rid of and then wished I'd had back for some reason it kills me! But there are so many neglected pieces out there just waiting to be discovered...keep your eyes peeled!
