Peg Board Coat Rack
When I was trying to figure out a solution for our "by the front door" mess, peg board was the first thing that came to mind. I mean, I already use it in my craft room everywhere, in the garage for good storage...so why not use it by the front door to help organize all our junk?
So I painted our initials on each square so we each have our own space and then hung it on the wall by the front door. It wasn't until after it was hung up that I realized that it needed some baskets for our scarves, gloves and hats too, so I ordered a few and added them as well!
