Create a Gallery Wall to Cover Up the Uglies in the Basement

My basement is finished, but for some reason the builder put UGLY utility boxes smack dab in the middle of the wall...and they are so big, you really can't cover them with a piece of single art. I decided to use my favorite family photos and 3M Command Strips to create a Gallery Wall to camouflage those ugly utility boxes. I definitely had to get creative when it came to hanging the frames.
Gallery Wall to cover utility boxes in my basement
My favorite family photos cover ugly, bulky utility boxes in my basement.
Adding some decorative accessories with a console table creates a gorgeous vignette.
Sometimes you have to get creative when it comes to covering up the uglies!

Susan I say that ALL the time to the men in my family! I always read directions. But then I've always read anything with words on it. I'm an obsessive reader.

I’ve had the Command hooks fall off also...despite following the directions.

They also peeled the paint off the wall....🤦‍♀️
