Singer Sewing Machine Base Storage Table

Giving new life to a 1902 Singer Sewing Machine base.
We found a 1902 Singer at the flea market. The cabinet was in rough shape but the base was perfect. I did manage to save the drawers for another project.
Cleaned up and painted black. We then attached a drawer to create storage on top. It is propped open in this photo.
We attached a solid piece of wood to the drawer for a flat surface top then stained and poly applied. New knobs were added to the drawer.
Now it serves as a storage table. having a flat surface top gives it a finished look.

How clever putting a drawer on top for storage. I have old sewing machine to, don't know what kind, this gives me something to think about! Looks great.
