Vintage Valentine Wreath

A wreath I spotted in the Plow and Hearth catalog inspired this Valentine's Day craft. I'm a vintage lover and wanted this wreath but didn't want to pay the $44.95 (without shipping) price. My version cost $1 since all I had to buy to make this was a sheet of foam core board from the dollar store. Everything else I needed I had in my craft closet.
The valentines were found by searching Pinterest. I copied them to a word document, printed them on card stock, and cut them out.
I sketched a large heart on foam core board and cut it out with an exacto knife. The heart was painted red and after it dried, sprayed with spray adhesive and glittered with coarse crystal glitter.
I used glitter Mod Podge to attach the valentine cards to the heart.
I found so many cute vintage valentines. Click over to my post for a link to get them for your own project!
