The Tea Cart

Such a cute little tea cart, but it had seen better days. I knew just what it needed to give it a new life! There were TONS listed for sale on craigslist that just sat there unloved that looked just like this. No one is buying them in their original state and no one wants to keep them in their original state. If you don't like painted wood, there are a ton of others out there for you to buy and love, but it won't be this one! Besides, after the previous owner trying to sell this for 6 months with no luck, it sold within three hours when I was done!
This is the before. Cute right? Well maybe not cute enough. I knew it needed to be brighter so I painted most of it white, leaving the drawer, wheels and tray their natural wood.
It was much better but still needed something............like a stencil!
The drop sides also got a little stencil love!
Here is the top fully opened in all her glorious wonder
See? Better right?
Now lets put the tray back on
And slide the drawer back in
And voila! She's all ready to be loved again!

Lovely. Is that a picture frame on top? It is the cherry on the sundae.

Very Nice redo. A piece to be proud of and enjoy. I have that stencil. Haven't used it yet. You just encouraged me. Thank you.
