Plant 51 Flower Bulbs at the Speed of Light
Yesterday it was again unseasonably warm here in Pittsburgh and I decided to plant tulip & allium bulbs.
The problem was that Saturdays are always super busy for us. So I decided to use my brain for once and get this done quickly. I used my impact drill/driver and a tri-fluted speedbor bit to literally drill holes in the ground.
You could use a spade bit, too. I was able to get all 51 bulbs in the ground in less than 30 minutes. Which helped me save time and do more laundry, LOL.

it happens in years like this,I've seen snowstorms ontop of full grown tulips in April in Iowa LOL

did you plant the bulbs in the ground or a container? We have heavy clay soil in NW Illinois ( think concrete) which makes digging a chore. Also, on your website you mentioned squirrels. They will dig up container bulbs but you could put a circle of chicken wire over and around the top. Some put the wire in the dirt just above the bulbs but if you want to add bedding plants later the wire gets in the way. A cover protects the bulbs but you can remove it, plant the annuals. I've also sprayed the container dirt with red pepper steeped water.
