Homemade Water Color Paints

Found this online and thought it would be good timing for something to keep the kiddos busy while they're out of school for Christmas vacation (for those of you who have kiddos). Supposedly, they are super easy to make, and cost practically nothing to make. You probably already have all the ingredients on hand in your kitchen. I'm going to give them a try myself. If anyone makes these, let me know how they turn out!

Leslie, you are a life saver! This is going to be a perfect gift for my young nieces, and their parents. Not only will I make a batch, but will give the parents the recipe to make more!

I don't have corn starch, and won't buy any because of my acute corn allergy, wonder if there is another way to make something like this. Also can't do those "pudding paints" for the same reason - corn.

@Leah M Try using potato starch. I'll be doing this in this or next week I don't use "corn" anything so i'll be doing it with potato starch, hopefully it'll come out good too.
