Update a Vintage Magazine Rack

I found a vintage magazine rack at a yard sale. It needed some work but was so unique it had to come home with me.
It still looked old and worn after I cleaned it up. The old yellow paint on it didn't fit in with our home at all.
I used chalk paint and gold wax to give it a pop of color and turn it into a piece I love.
Because I left the chipping paint on the top of the table, the wax settled into those spots and created a nice "old" texture to the table.
The gold wax is now a favorite of mine and I will be using it all the time. It adds so much dimension and shine.

I have a similar table too. It was my great grandmothers. I love old furniture. Definitely using this color to redo mine. Thanks!
