Budget Laundry Room Makeover

The Rozy Home
by The Rozy Home
For years I've dealt with a decent-sized laundry room that had absolutely no storage (except for the shelf on one side). After my washing machine needed repair I decided it was time to do something about it. The entire remodel was around $125.
The laundry room before. The opposite side was almost identical and held the washer and dryer.
We built platforms a year ago but that's as far as we got.
After cleaning everything out, I built shelving.
Initially I was going to leave the shelving open, but decided to add doors.
I added floating shelves and built drying racks using pallet wood and knobs from Hobby Lobby.
I added baskets under the platforms for dry cleaning and taking clean clothes upstairs for folding.
I added a light I made from a pendant kit and candle holder.
The shelving stored the vacuum and such, as well as laundry baskets.
Storage for vacuum cleaner, steamer and mops.
I added a shelf for the Spot Bot. :-)
I added shelving for the laundry baskets.
A few baskets from Target provided extra storage and lets me "hide" things I don't want to have to look at (paint supplies and such). The total project only took a couple of days and has been great! I finally have storage for all my cleaning supplies and everything feels so much more organized. Not bad for $125. :-)
