DIY Wine Cork Heart

Kristin
by Kristin
Super fun and easy project for Valentines Day
Start off by tracing a heart on some heavy weight card-stock . If you are going to be placing the heart in a frame, make sure the paper is cut to the correct size.
Grab all of your corks and start hot gluing.
Paint the tops
Place in a frame and enjoy!

You said this can also be used as a hot plate. What would you use as a base for the corks if using as a hot plate? And would the paint come off if you rest hot dishes on top?

Definitely a great way to get some inexpensive wall art. Depending on how creative one wants to be, the art work can be as big or small as you want. You could even add a bit of glitter to the heart shaped corks for a little sparkle. Love it.
