Freshened up Jewelry Box

Nancy Tuttle Godin
by Nancy Tuttle Godin
Found this little gem for about $2 at my local Goodwill and just knew I could pretty it up a bit.
I took the hinge off and sanded by hand.
Cut some cardboard I had laying around to protect the inside, along with some painter's tape. Then sprayed a coat of primer.
Then, proceeded to paint with acrylic paint from Hobby Lobby.
Added burlap with a hot glue gun to the existing glass.
Added this pretty piece I found at Hobby Lobby with hot glue.
Put it all back together, and here it is!
