IKEA Strawberry Planter

Recognize this? Sure you do! I bet almost every home in North America has one of these baskets from IKEA. Know what it's good for? It's perfect for making a vertical strawberry planter!!
It didn't take long to put together: CLICK ON THE VIDEO ABOVE!!! All you need is some strawberry plants, some moss and compost. Grow this planter on a deck, a fence post or any area where you could use some vertical green!
What does a strawberry planter need? Well, it needs to be able to hold soil and have holes in it to plant the strawberries. This IKEA basket is intended to store used grocery bags and be mounted on a wall. But when I saw it, my plant brain saw a vertical planter!

I live in Minnesota and I don't think I have easy access to moss. Is there something else I can use instead of moss?
