Frame Turned Key Holder

My quest to find a key holder I really liked for my entrance was a big fail for a long time. I was running around looking for keys all the time. But, I did not want to buy something that I knew I would get rid of in a couple months. So, until the right one showed up I just continued to run around the house.
Then as I was cleaning out some boxes I found an old frame and the light bulb came on. I will make my own key holder.
This was so easy, all you need is paint and some hooks. You can use a picture of your liking. I choose to make a graphic.
I painted the frame with chalk paint then a coat of dark wax and a final coat of clear wax. You will want to wipe the dark wax until you get the look you like.

After your paint has dried then add some hooks and that's it.
I did decorate the frame mat which was super easy. I drew out a key and key holder design around the mat. Then I used Elmer's glue over the design and waited for it to dry then I painted with chalk paint.
And, were done!
