Branded Wooden Silverware for the Gold Rush BBQ

If you're having a BBQ this with western flair, check out this easy craft to make "branded" wooden utensils. It adds a charming rustic touch to any table setting.
Wooden silverware is great for parties. It's easily biodegradable (so you feel less guilty using disposables!) and they look great, too.
Because they're not made out of slick plastic, it's also fun and easy to decorate wooden forks, knives, and spoons, too. For this craft, I wanted to emulate the look of a classic branding iron. All it took were B and Q letter stamps and a pad of brown stamp ink.
I overlapped the BBQ letters a bit and staggered them, so they'd look more like a classic branding mark. Easy, fast, inexpensive, and adorable--what more could you ask for?
Use a bandana for a napkin, make a denim and twine napkin ring, and a pie tin for a plate, and you have the perfect table setting for a rustic western cookout.
