Just because there are thousands of exterior paint colors and combinations to choose from doesn't mean they're all available to you. In fact, most should be forbidden to any well-meaning homeowner.
As an Architectural consultant, my job is to help you make the best possible decisions when it comes to designing and improving your dream home.
In our current real estate market every design decision matters. Even the most subtle changes to exterior paint colors can improve the perceived value of your home, making it stand out from your neighbors.

I have your typical 80s suburb home. It's resided about 3 yrs ago by seller. It's vanilla with dark shutters. The door is white and has Roman post. I plan on having post redone and adding another one to balance entrance. So I am not working with a large budget, should I have post painted expresso as well as the door and the screen door we need to buy? Would another color be better? The garage door is facing front and it is white so is all the trim. Do those need to be painted as well. I don't want it to look like two black holes against the siding. I don't trust paint on vynle siding either. But when I meet new neighbors and I refer to my house as the vanilla house they know exactly which house it is that's how boring it is.please help with suggestions.

can you please help with the exterior stone/brick/siding. This picture is similar to what my home will look like except my home will have the garage Doors facing the front of the house. I want something light with maybe the combination of stone and brick. Can you share you expertise? Thank you so much!

My mother was always big on white. I was too until invited to a friend's home filled with color. It was so welcoming and homey. My colors MUST have gray tones, whether they're in style or not.

I concur with Hollyhock 19, my colours are heritage grays, greige or old French Grey which has a greenish greige tone. I have teamed these with old white which has a grey tone, lovely.
