Well it took me quite awhile but I finally managed to finish my patio project!! Our house has a great backyard patio with an awesome view- but my furniture and space desperately needed some zestin’. I went on a hunt for how to re-upholster patio furniture and found it be expensive due to the special outdoor material I needed but also- let’s be real, I am not a big fan of sewing. GASP!

I know, I just am not one to get too excited about it- lammmeee. But with that in mind, my prayers were answered when I came across a SCORE at a garage sale down the street.

But first the “before”….

Notice how some of the furniture is black, some brown and some grey? All those chairs are torn, no bueno….

And now for my amazing deal, I scored this entire set for $80.00! That included….

5 chairs
1 coffee table
2 rocking chairs
1 loveseat

But because it was used and a little run down, I wanted to spray paint the metal to give a clean and new fresh look! So off to 2 Home depot’s and Lowes to gather A TON of spray paint cans. My color choice? Rustoleum Hammered “bronze”

TIP: get the easy spray grip handle so you can go at angles and your hand won’t kill by the end of the project!

While those are busy drying, let’s move onto my little gardening corner….potting bench idea anyone?
Grab an old door, barrels, and a pallet!

Love the way this outdoor furniture all ties in now!

You can use a different kind of paint but I used Rustoleum Hammered “bronze” for outdoor furniture because it hides any imperfections!

Now time to add pops of color with the pillows!

Adding some cute decor with my succulents and candles!

Feel free to get creative in your decor!

I hope these pictures inspire you! Can you tell I'm obsessed with plants?

Now I get to work outside on my new patio furniture!!

I think the patio is my new favorite place in the house, I am currently sitting outside on my comfy love seat as I write this:)

Happy Zesting!
