How to Make a Driftwood Lamp
I needed a shade for another lamp I had but couldn't find one that fit within the budget or style until I found this hideous lamp. It had the shade I needed, but the base was awful. I bought it anyway because it was a great price even for just the shade!
I even tried to sell the lamp base on a Facebook Yard Sale site but had no takers.
Then it hit me.

I took the whole lamp apart so I was left with this.
I then grabbed some driftwood and my drill and got to work...
I drilled holes in each piece and placed them on the post.
Once I got it how I wanted it, I put the lamp back together and found a shade. What do you think? It's perfect for our sunroom!
