Today I worked on an old wheelbarrow that was laying around in our junk pile that needed to go to the dump. It was rusted and leftover from the previous owners of the house. I, unlike my husband however looked at it and found an opportunity to create something pretty and unique for our yard. For steps on how to do this easy project and more pics you can check out my blog.

I sprayed the entire wheelbarrow with yellow spray paint from Valspar. I also sprayed the tire. I wanted it all yellow for a different look. With the help of my daughter we used sandpaper to rough it up. I then used acrylic and painted a fun little flower bouquet.
I loved this project. It was fun, easy, and the only thing that cost me money were the flowers. : )
I love anything I can paint on. Especially if I can paint flowers! I love flowers with acrylic

how does the water drain so as not to "rot" and kill the plants from being too wet?
