Globe Shade as Path Light Cover

Easy
What to do with a globe light? Use it to cover your path light, but decorate it first!
Locate a globe light fixture. You can find them at thrift stores or yard sales. Find some glass stones for decorating. You can find stones at craft stores, garage sales and even the Dollar Tree carries them.
You will need an outdoor glue. There are many on the market, such as E6000, Loctite Stik'n Seal, or Gorilla Glue.
You want a glue that will adhere rather quickly or the glass stones will slide down.
I would work on a section at a time since my glue didn't stick quickly enough. The weight from the other stones, caused the stones to move. If you let them dry overnight, then you can add more the next day.
Here s the globe light completely covered. I took the top off of the path light and placed the globe over the path light.
The stones really shine at night adding lots of color. This was an easy project, but took me a few days, since I had to wait for my glue to dry.
Here is the globe at night. sorry the picture is not really good.

What a great idea! This could be done for next to nothing. I can't wait to try it. Could you show a picture of the path light you used?
