Easy DIY Feather Sculptures - Made With Concrete

Paper & Fox
by Paper & Fox
Love simple and modern design, but do not have the cash to spend on art? No Worries! Create beautiful feather sculptures for less than $5.00 with concrete.
Simply pick out your favorite feathers.
Create concrete mixture (according to instructions on the concrete bag ), pour mixture into greased plastic cup.
Allow the mixture to completely dry. With the summer humidity, I allowed it a few additional hours. Remove the dried concrete base from plastic cup and paint. I chose an antique white and covered the feather sculptures in several coats.
So what do you think? Pretty nice for around $5.00 right?

You called it a Feather Sculpture, but the feathers aren't actually dipped in or made from concrete... simply painted, right?
