Before and after -- I cleaned these silver candlesticks with toothpaste.
Who knew?
Here I am in front of my clean range top. I cleaned cooked-on food stains with toothpaste.

I'm all for cleaning with natural stuff, but I want those stains eliminated, and the toothpaste while it acts as a mild abraser, did not take the stains already caked on the stove. I will say that I too, shy away from using chemicals, and have recently discovered how to clean my bathtub while taking a longggg shower. I used Dr. Bonner's Magic castille soap. This soap works better than the typical cleaning agents that are made for the bathtub. It cleans the gray grime that you still see even after you use those cleaners. It's so nice to be able to clean the tub with something that is safe to use on ones own body.
