Tie-Dyed Rope Wreath

I combined a wreath I found at the thrift store and some leftover sisal rope to make a colorful summer wreath.
The wreath form was $0.50, and the rest of the supplies I had at home, making the cost of this project super cheap, and it took a total of 30 minutes!
I randomly added different lengths to the jars with the dye.
At first, I went way overboard on the time in the dye bath, and my colors were looking more Fall-like. I figured out an easy way to tone down the colors, and turned them back to summer-time!
I added hot glue to the back every couple of inches to hold everything in place.
I've never made a wreath before, or hung one on my front door, but I'm really loving it. I think I might need to do this more often... Head on over to the blog for more details on the dye I used, and my trick for lightening up the color!
