Loyal readers of the German magazine "Handmade Kultur" may already know this tutorial but I also wanted to show you my belt key chain here. Dear upcycling-fans, hit your closets and let the belt-casting begin!
Materials: A bolt with a nut (2cm in length) and a leather belt.
1. Cut a 16 cm long strip of your leather belt.
2. Punch a hole at both ends in your leather strip.
3. Plug the screw through a hole and put your keys over the screw. Plug the screw through the second hole and fasten the nut.

Belt made to hold keys. What glue did you use to keep the nut on the screw?

Love this idea, I am going to use cap nuts instead of a plain nut to ensure it isn't rough and scratchy.

And..., you can use a drill for the hole in the leather if you don't have a leather punch.
