we discovered FAUX BEAMS!

That's right! They make faux beams that cost a FRACTION of what the real ones do! AND they are much easier to work with. Since they are constructed of high density foam, they are WAAAY lighter and easier to maneuver and install.

This was our family room pre-beam.

BOTTOM line is that we love what these did to the TOP of our space. They direct your eye up, but still bring in a "cozy" factor to this room that could otherwise feel kind of cold with it's high, vaulted ceilings.

Of course, there was a lot more done than just the beams. I've seen these beams. They've been around for years. Your living room looks so much better and brighter. Nice job.
