Clay Recipe - Take 1
I tried out a clay recipe and ran into some problems. No worries - I patched them up and painted them. To make these clay medallions I rolled out the clay and used a cotton doily to make the impressions.

Jeannette, I just had a "lightbulb" moment when you said you don't like to put things like lamps on your tables. Why not when making one of these press your lamp base into it to make an impression, remove the lamp then let the "stone" dry.

I'm the opposite I love a lamp on a table that is part of teh decoration but they do take up a lot of space! But you cannot tell these were minor mistakes...so the next set cannot wait to see how well they turn out!
