Upcycling Plastic Ice Cream Buckets Into Great New Storage Containers

I have been making my own laundry detergent for a while and have been brainstorming on making a new storage container just for the purpose. Inspiration struck with an empty ice cream container but why stop with just a new laundry detergent bucket?
I started out by cleaning off all the manufacturer printed graphics using a cotton ball dipped in fingernail polish remover.
Once I cleaned off all the printing I decorated the buckets using paper printouts, strips of paper from an old book (ready for recycle) and Modge Podge.
I sprayed painted the handle on one bucket and another one I wrapped in jute twine.
I allowed all to dry overnight and it was done! The options are endless for upcycling these handy storage buckets. I ended up with not only a new storage bucket for detergent but also a craft project tote I can use when transporting project supplies from room to room.

Yes, very possible. I have about 15-20 ice cream buckets. I have tried to take the print off with fingernail polish remover but couldn't get it off, any suggestions?

Try pure acetone instead of buying polish remover. It may work better.
