Lampshade Re-do

Inspired by Beth B.. my kichen lamp (that i just adore) shade was in desperate need of a re-do because it was tearing..and I couldn't turn it around to hide the tears anymore because they were all over.. so... i made the feeble attempt to re-do.. here's my so-called attempt.. it was a bit frustrating lining it up.. but i got it..
I couldn't touch the shade because it would tear more..
a sweater i no longer wore has now been re-used.- and the color matched my kitchen (even better)
