A Second Chance for an Old Stereo

Although its look was disgusting, I love the style of these stereos of the sixties, and decided to do something to give this one a new chance to be charming and useful
Fisrst step: think of a design and a new use for this wooden frame. I will discard almost everything and keep the frame.
I sanded the whole piece. I wanted to give it some interest through colour. Outside will be dark violet, but I have to find some interesting paper for the inside
I couldnt find any suitable wallpaper that matched the dark violet I wanted for the outside. So I made my own using stencil and the colours I needed
There it is: DIY wallpaper ready!
Wallpapered all interiors.
Painted outside. Added hooks to hang cups...
But there is something else: with this antique frame I will make a tray for my cabinet...
Same frame colour and same paper. Glass for protection.
And here is my new "drink cabinet" ! Ready to start a new life!
