Geometric Wine Bar

My husband used to use this old dresser for a tool bench in our basement. I decided to repurpose it into the basement win bar that I have always wanted.
The dresser was well constructed of solid maple with a bit of chipped veneer. I sanded the entire thing, then gave it a coat of Zinssler primer.
I used General Finishes Milk Paint in Antique White for the next 2 coats. I painted right over the hardware since it was in good shape.
The dresser had some nice grooves that made it a perfect candidate for my geometric project. I used an entire roll of Frog Tape to create the graphic design, then I painted over it with 2 more coats of General Finishes Lamp Black. The final coat was clear varnish to seal it.
Lots more details on the blog.
