What kind of repairs does it need? Is it leaking? Does it need painting? Does it have a dirt floor? Please, be more specific.
Paint the walls and floor; install carpeting if flooding would never be an issue. Install vinyl flooring or click and lock flooring. Install 2" x 4" s to the walls, insulate, and drywall. Install LED lighting, newer laundry tubs with a more elegant faucet. Install a second kitchen or bath. Make the space a family room, etc.
You can put up what are known as ‘furring strips. These are pieces of 1x2 or 1x3 nailed to the wall with concrete nails (see photo). Attach drywall to them and paint it a bright color.
