Hi Laura, quite a few hometalkers have shared their bathroom remodels here - https://www.hometalk.com/search/posts?filter=bathroom Perhaps one of them will inspire you and give you some ideas
Decide what you want to replace. Draw up a design keeping the location of the plumbing in mind because you cannot move it without great expense. If you are planning on redoing the floor then you should remove the vanity and the toilet. Decide on what you want, a tub or shower. Once you remove the fixtures, paint the walls and then put down the flooring. Go to Houzz.com for ideas.
Laura, How much do you have to spend??? What really do you want to replace??? Let's know. Aloha!
You don’t say if there is tile or a 1/2 a bath or whole bath with a tub
Thanks ladies! I just moved into a home 21yrs old in the desert so alot of the old pinks were used in the stand up shower and the countertop. The vanity can probably be painted, it's 90" but I'm not a fan of it. It has a mirror the length of the vanity with a hideous long silver light bulb fixture. The walk in shower is also a pink surround piece that is in excellent shape. I put up a curtain to hide it. The floors are ceramic tile which are also in good shape. So if I replace the vanity I would have to replace the floors right? Any ideas? I want to keep my cost low since I already remodeled the kitchen. Thanks !
