I adore vintage jewelry and often find gorgeous clip earrings during my thrifting jaunts. They are super handy for repurposing. I've dressed up pillows and tablescapes--why not shower curtain hooks? FIRST, I removed the existing faux green gems from my existing hooks. Pressing my thumbnail under the stone and pushing, was all it took.

NEXT, I removed the clip backs from the earrings, by clipping the wire with scissors. LAST, I glued the jewelry onto the round part of the hook. Voila! Bling for your shower curtain!

Since there are 12 hooks in all, I alternated colors from the assorted pairs.

I love this idea. It’s hard to find pretty hooks to match my decor. When I do they’re too expensive. It also helps that I used to own a jewelry store on Etsy. I have thousands and thousands of beads on hand!!!
