A DIY Cozy Reading Nook in the Master Bedroom

We have a small nook in our master bedroom that we had placed a desk for my husband's computer but I wanted to make it more useful and appealing to the eye. So we built a cozy reading nook with bookshelves and a plank wall with sconces. The video explains every step but if you have any further questions, please go to 1) https://www.lindahomeiswheremyheartis.com/a-cozy-reading-nook/ 2) https://www.lindahomeiswheremyheartis.com/the-reading-nook-the-bookcases/

This is the before...an empty nook in our master bedroom.
This is during the project. We built the bench and were in the process of building the side bookcases. We had an electrician come in to install the sconces.
Everything is painted white.
We installed these wood planks from Lowe's. Very easy to put together. Tongue and groove and we used 1-/4 inch brads to hold it in place.
And the finished product!!

Your reading nook is fantastic! It sure was nice of your husband to give up his computer space; just wondering where he has it now. BTW - it was SO funny watching your speeded up video!
