$10 Mid Century Dresser Makeover

I found this dresser at a local thrift store for $10 and for that price, it was mine!
You can see the markings inside of the drawer for the Profile by Drexel. The piece was not in the best shape on the sides and was peeling a little but I didn’t mind at all. It still looked great from the front. Hubby did have to add some wood glue to the front bar and brace it a little because one of the drawers was hard to pull out.
I needed something to add to my master bedroom makeover and this piece was perfect. I decided the two toned finish was what I wanted.
A little work and it turned out great.
Quality brand of furniture.
Salvaged the hardware!
Sanded the drawers and left natural. Waxed to bring out wood grain.
Painted top and sides with chalky finish paint.
